Ovarian Cancer - Usually Diagnosed Too LateOvarian Cancer is one of the reproductive system diseases. It is not usually diagnosed early. Early recognition is one of the best defenses of cancer but ovarian cancer is diagnosed early only about 20% of the time.
If ovarian cancer is diagnosed early, there is a good chance for a full recovery - as high as 90 percent chance of full recovery. Unfortunately, this disease is not recognized early. Consequently, when this disease is diagnosed, it is usually in the later stages. At that point, treatment is very difficult. As a result, ovarian cancer can be very lethal.
