What is DHEA?

It is a naturally occurring hormone produced by the adrenal gland called Dehydroepiandrosterone.

Its production increases steadily from early childhood and peaks by the mid twenties and tends to be higher in men than in women.

During its declining production, supplementation is required to replace the levels of decline.
